AICTE PG Scholarship (GATE/ GPAT) @ aicte-india.org | Apply Online, Eligibility, Scholarship Amount: The higher authorities of the All India Council for Technical Education have announced the scheme called AICTE PG Scholarship for candidates who have a valid GATE/ GPAT/ CEED score. We advise all the applicants to utilize this opportunity and apply for the AICTE GATE Scholarship. The AICTE Scholarship registration is available in Online Mode. AICTE PG Scholarship – Overview

AICTE GATE Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria

Post Graduate Scholarship is entitled only to those students:

1. Having a valid GATE/ GPAT/CEED score at the time of admission.
2. Must be admitted as a full-time scholar.
3. Students of final years of dual degree integrated programs would also be entitled to PG Scholarship from the 9th semester onwards in case they get a CGPA score of 8 or above (on a scale of 10 ) i.e. only for one year in the final year.
4. Admitted in AICTE approved Institutions/University Departments & AICTE approved programs viz. Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, Master of Architecture, Master of Pharmacy, and Master of Design.
5. The number of PG Scholarships is limited to the AICTE approved intake in the program in that year. However, in addition to the approved intake, AICTE will provide PG scholarships to the additional 10% of candidates over and above the approved intake of that course from the EWS category, if the university/ institute has admitted students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) as per MHRD OM F.No.12-4/2019-U1 dated 17th January 2019.

AICTE GPAT Scholarship Objectives

AICTE in order to ensure the development of technical education in India awards a Post Graduate Scholarship of Rs. 12,400/- per month to full-time GATE/ GPAT/ CEED qualified students admitted to AICTE approved post-graduate programs in AICTE approved Institutions/ University Departments as per AICTE approved intake.

AICTE Scholarship – Amount

The Scholarship under the scheme is Rs. 12,400/- per month per student.

AICTE PG Scholarship – Duration

1. The Scholarship is tenable for 24 months or for the duration of the course i.e. from the date of commencement of classes till the date of completion of the classes whichever is lower and is not extendable under any circumstances.
2. Students of final years of dual degree integrated programs would also be entitled to PG Scholarship from the 9th semester onwards in case they get a CGPA score of 8 or above (on a scale of 10 ) i.e. only for one year in the final year.

AICTE PG Scholarship – Other Entitlements

Students are eligible for the following leaves:

• Casual leave: 15 days in an academic year
• Medical leave: Maximum of one month (30 days) in an academic year
• Maternity leave: Candidates are eligible for maternity/ Paternity leave as per Govt. of India norms issued from time to time at full rates of scholarship etc. once during the tenure of their award. However, the maximum duration of the scholarship will not be extended in any circumstances.

Note:

All kinds of leave should be approved at the level of the University/ College/ Institute. Prior approval of the University/ Institution/ College is mandatory for all types of leaves.

• Visit the official site of the All India Council for Technical Education @ aicte-india.org.
• The home page will appear on the screen.
• At the top of the page, you can see the “Web Portal Login” section.
• Click on that.
• Enter the credentials and verify them.
• Fill in all the details in the AICTE PG Scholarship form.
• Click on the “Submit” button.
