AMD Jobs 2024 – Responsibilities
- Define, develop, execute, and Automate test models and track the results for Firmware/BIOS Testing of AMD Server and GPU Products in pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
- Automating Test cases using scripting languages like Python in Windows and Linux environments.
- Drive innovation in production software environments.
- Combine advanced software engineering skills with a drive to explore novel approaches to solve important problems in heterogeneous computing at large scales.
- Evaluate and review existing processes and continuously strive to optimize the workflow.
AMD Careers 2024 – Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
- Extensive Python experience and test case development, preferably in production environments.
- Knowledge of Pre-Silicon Testing of BIOS/Firmware using Simulators or Emulators.
- Prior experience in scripting with C++, Shell, TCL/TK, and AutoIT is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
- Excellent design and code development skills, familiarity with Linux and modern software tools and techniques for development.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good Knowledge of Computer architecture and Its components like x86 Processors APU, GPU, PCIe, CXL, USB, and NVME.
- Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers and source code control systems is a plus.
- Familiar with CI/CD Tools like Jenkins.
