- Maintaining Data Lake-based data models with automated pipelines for data processing, ingestion, and consumption, including governance and data quality capabilities, leveraging multiple platform technologies (e.g.: AWS, Databricks, Azure, etc.)
- Monitoring critical data pipelines and engaging in proactive support with platform teams, end-users, or projects
- Implementing automated testing or executing manual testing procedures to ensure conformity with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identifying impacts of changes in sources of data, code, and platforms.
Baker Hughes Careers 2024-2025 | Qualifications and Skills
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
- A minimum of 0-3 years of professional experience.
- Have knowledge of Data Engineering concepts (SQL, Data Modelling, ELT).
- Have knowledge of Data Processing languages and technologies (e.g.: PySpark, databases, distributed systems).
- Have knowledge of Data Visualization tools and technologies (e.g.: Tableau, PowerBI).
- Be aware of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etc. Prior experience in an agile environment or introductory training in Lean/Agile is a differentiator. Be aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI).
