Bankura District Recruitment 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

• Only those teachers who have retired at the age of 60 years under the ROPA-2019 scale of pay as full-time approved Teachers and are below 64 years of age as of 01.01.2024 may apply for engagement as Guest Teachers in those Model Schools & Integrated Schools. In the case of a primary teacher, the minimum qualification will be H.S. or Old Higher Secondary.
• The retired Teacher should be physically fit and mentally alert to discharge the duties of Guest Teacher in the school in which he/she would be engaged full time for 6(six) days a week during school hours and to perform related duties like invigilation, evaluation of answer scripts of examinations and all other related jobs.
• Teachers who have been made to retire compulsorily as punishment or voluntarily due to illness or for another type of incapacitance or have been charged/ convicted of moral turpitude or for any criminal offense could not be considered for such engagement.

The selected candidates will get the remuneration based on The remuneration of the guest teacher, Gr-‘C’ & Gr.- ‘D’ staff may be fixed Vide Memo No. 52-ES/O/PM and PI/BRGF (OPER)/NSB-1/2014 dated 27.11.2015, G.O. No. 11-SE(S)/3S-28/2009 dated 03.01.2012 issued by the School Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal, G.O.No. 744/1(3)-SC-/S dt 16.04.2014 and G.O.No. 749/1(3)-SC-/S dt 16.04.2014 issued by the Commissioner of School Education, West Bengal.
