BSSC SSA Jobs 2023 – Educational Qualifications & Experience
- The candidate should possess the 12th pass/ Degree/ M.Sc. in Various Stream/ M.Tech / B.tec in Electronics or Computer Science in Any Recognized University in India
- At least 01 (one) year of working experience (as a Senior Scientific Assistant) in a Forensic Science Laboratory.
BSSC Senior Scientific Assistant Salary
Candidates who have been selected for the post of BSSC Senior Scientific Assistant will receive the pay scale as follows:
Revised Level 6 (Revised- Pay Band 9300-38400 + Grade Pay 0-4200/-)
BSSC Senior Scientific Assistant Jobs Notification 2023 – Age Limit
- The minimum age limit for the SSA post is 21 years as of 1st January 2023 for both male and female applicants.
- The maximum age limit for male candidates is 37 years.
- The maximum age limit for female candidates is 40 years.
- Age relaxation is admissible as per government rules.

- For Male Candidates of General Class/ Backward Class/ Extremely Backward Class and all categories of candidates (Male/Female) from outside Bihar, the application fee is Rs. 540/-.
- For all categories of Divyang, SC/ ST (for permanent residents of Bihar) and for all categories of women (only for permanent residents of Bihar) the application fee is Rs.135/-.
