CBSE 10th, 12th Class Pending Exams – Not Cancelled!! @ cbse.nic.in: Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Tuesday hosted a video conference of education ministers of states and UTs to discuss the current situation. During a video conference with the HRD Minister, Sisodia recommended that Promote 10th, 12th Class Students Based On Internal Marks like it was done for 9th, 11th Classes. It is not feasible now to conduct board exams of 10th, 12th classes which are pending due to the lock down imposed to curb the COVID-19 spread. In reply, the Central Board of Secondary Education has clarified that there is no such intent. However, the CBSE class 10 and class 12 board examinations will be surely conducted by the officials after the lock down period is over.
Even in the previous meetings conducted between the top CBSE officials had stated that the CBSE 10th, 12th board exams will be conducted. The Central Board of Secondary Education authority has released a notification related to the CBSE 10th, 12th Pending Exams on 29th April 2020 at the official site (cbse.nic.in). As per the notification, CBSE has stated that the board would be conducting the examinations of the 29 subjects as per the April 1 circular, which is also available at the official site. It is also informed that the examination of all the subjects of class 10th, 12th as mentioned in the press release will be conducted after lockdown is over.
