Cerence Software Engineer Openings | Principal duties and Responsibilities

The Tools & Software Team is looking for an excellent software engineer or developer who can contribute to our in-house quality assessment project of our TTS product. This project showcases the quality of Cerence TTS voices and displays the benchmark with the competition. Reports generated from this project are used by the Product and Marketing team to showcase the quality of our TTS voices and our standings with the competition. This project was also used to showcase the quality of our new GEEnE voices. The selected candidate will be working on development, testing, and documentation in an agile environment. He/ she will work with our Europe-based team and will be trained on the best practices to develop and maintain high-level reports.

• Understand the requirements from the Product and Marketing team
• Generate samples from Cerence and competitor voices
• Understand the structure of our testing strategies
• Prepare reports using extracted results
• Publish different tests on the Murmur platform
• Coordinate with testers
• Extract results from Murmur
• Attend and contribute to the weekly meetings, sprint reviews, accuracy check analysis of results/ report with remote team
• Optimize the process for efficiency
