- Developing strong customer relationships to prevent competitive infiltration into the account and building customer intimacy and sales execution at all levels of the customer organization, including the ‘C’ level.
- Focusing on execution and sales strategy to maintain and expand opportunities in existing pipelines, maximizing revenue streams and margins according to company expectations.
- Initiating and developing strong customer relationships at all levels, including executives, and being responsible for direct sales activities, bookings, revenue, and margin presentations at all management levels.
- Developing and managing North India Telco accounts to grow revenue for Ciena India at appropriate margin levels.
- Collaborating closely with the Account Leader, Pre-sales, Projects, Operations, and Global support teams to develop comprehensive strategies for rapid revenue growth in the short and long term.

- A business or science/ engineering degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- MBA and/ or advanced technical degree.
