Part A
So, Part A includes 160 questions from four sections. Each section consists of 40 questions. And, each question is for four marks. The subjects involved in Part A are Proficiency in Sanskrit Language, General Knowledge & Mental Ability, Teaching Aptitude, and Sanskrit Literature.
Part B
Students need to write the answers to the questions descriptively. The topics in Part B are Knowledge of Sanskrit linguistic Components, Comprehension Test, and Creative Writing. Each topic is for ten marks. Overall Part B is for 40 scores.
CSSET 2020 – Evaluation Method
- Scoring at least 35% marks separately in proficiency in Sanskrit language and Sanskrit Literature, i.e., in First and fourth sections of Part ‘A’ and also in Sanskrit language writing
capability, i.e., part B is a must. For the remaining sections (Second & third of part “A”) as well, a minimum of 20% marks in each of the sections will be compulsory for passing. - Only those students passing with requisite marks in all sections of Part “A” will qualify for evaluation of Part “B.”
- Those competitors who pass in both parts “A” and “B” will be declared successful.
