Delhi Widow Daughter Marriage Scheme | Orphan Girl Marriage Registration, Eligibility, Benefits: Delhi Government has Launched the Delhi Widow’s Daughter Marriage Yojana, Delhi Orphan Girl Marriage Scheme. Delhi government has amended income criteria for Poor Window’s Daughter and Orphan Girls Marriage Scheme. The amended eligibility criteria are now relevant for Financial Assistance for Marriage of Daughters of Poor Widows and Orphan Girl Scheme in Delhi.

The primary aim of the Delhi Orphan Girl Marriage Yojana is to provide financial assistance of Rs. 30,000 to the poor widows for marriage of their daughters. This marriage assistance amount will grant them to meet the expenses involved in solemnizing the marriage of both daughters of Poor Widows and Orphan Girls.

Delhi Orphan Girl Marriage Scheme Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates must follow the eligibility criteria for Marriage Assistance Scheme for Delhi poor widow daughter’s marriage and orphan girls:-

• The candidate must be a bonafide resident of the National Capital Territory of Delhi for at least 5 years preceding the date of application.
• The age of the daughter should not be less than 18 years.
• The annual income of the candidate shouldn’t exceed Rs. 1 lakh.

Required Documents For Delhi Vidhwa Daughter Marriage Yojana

The subsequent documents shall be attached with the application:-

• A copy of a ration card or voter identity card or Adhaar card any other document as a proof of residence, which clearly shows at least 5 years of residence in Delhi
• A copy of the D.O.B (date of birth) certificate of the girl child.
• A self–declaration by the candidate regarding his/her income.
• Death Certificate of husband.
• Marriage Invitation Card or Marriage Certificate.
• An approved by area MLA/MP or Gazetted officer of State /Central Govt.
• Bank details

If you want to apply for the Delhi Widow Daughter Marriage Scheme via the offline mode you have to follow the subsequent steps:-

• First, visit the nearby Citizen Service Centre (CSC)
• On the counter, you can get the Delhi Widow Daughter Marriage Scheme & Delhi Orphan Girl Marriage Application form.
• Fill the application form
• Submit all of the necessary documents on the counter.
• The application form will be forwarded to the prescribed authority for confirmation.
• After confirmation, the pension amount will be issued to the candidate within the specified time.
