• The written examination shall be of one paper of 100 marks comprising of two parts.
• Part I shall be in the English language on General Knowledge, current affairs, etc.
• Part-II shall be in the Marathi language on Teaching Skills and Methodology, as per the syllabus of the D.Ed. course.
• The duration of the written examination shall be three hours.

Note: 

The general standard for passing the written examination is 45 marks out of 100 marks. If a sufficient number of candidates in the reserved categories are not available based on the general standard to fill all the vacancies reserved for them, candidates belonging to these categories shall be selected by relaxing standard with 35 marks out of 100 marks to fill up the remaining vacancies reserved for them.
