About Dravidian University | dravidianuniversity.ac.in
Dravidian University Distance Education (DUDE) was Established by the govt of Andhra Pradesh within the year 1997. The university was established through a legislative assembly Act (No.17 of 1997) with the initial support extended by the governments of Madras, Karnataka, and Kerala. It aims to the event of Dravidian languages and culture. The university has evolved a lot and today it has 20 academic departments and 6 research centers. The board of Distance Education (DDE), Dravidian University provides an opportunity for those unable to pursue higher education through regular mode.
The Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) imparts quality education to the students through graduate and postgraduate courses in faculties of arts, commerce, science, and management. Main Objective of the Dravidian University Distance Education is to produce the study material to those candidates who couldn’t take the admission within the schools for higher learning. University also offers the Degree and Non-Degree programs for the benefits of those peoples who are working. According to the targeted mission of the University is international analysis and perspective in Dravidian studies. Dravidian university admissions are conducted through a rigorous method of screening. There is no Entrance Test for the following U.G., Certificate, Diploma & P.G. Diploma Courses and Except For B.Ed.: Ed.CET, TPT: LPCET., B.P.Ed.: PECET. This university has different types of admissions, they are:

The Admission at Under-Graduate level in Arts, Social Sciences, Commerce, and Sciences, the admission is based on merit as manifested in the relevant pre-degree course.

Eligibility Criteria For UG Students Into Various Courses Of Study:
(a) Admission into B.Sc. Computer Science Course, Candidates should have studied Mathematics at the qualifying examination.
(b) Admission into B.Sc. Degree Course with Biology/ Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Bio-Technology as one of the subjects under Part-II candidates should have passed Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in the qualifying examination.
(c) Admission into B.Com. the main priority should be given to the students who passed Commerce/ Arts subjects in the qualifying examination.
(d) Admission into the BA, the first priority should be given to the students who passed Arts subjects in the qualifying examination.
(e) For admission into BBM, the first most priority should be given to the students who passed Commerce subject in the qualifying examination.
