Job Role: Associate Professional-Software Engineering

The whole DXC Technology Selection Proces was held in the virtual medium.

Round 1: Online Aptitude Rouns

The first round is the online aptitude round. Questions based on Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Essay Writing, Computer Programming, and Coding were asked in this round. The testing platform is Amcat. Except for the Automata Fix and Essay Writing sections all the other sections were objective type. Whereas, each of the sections has a time limit. As this was an elimination round, candidates who cleared this round were called for the personal interview round.

Round 2: Technical & HR Interview

First, the interviewer asked me some general questions followed by questions based on OOPS, Data Structures, Algorithms and technologies, and projects mentioned in the resume. Questions that were asked in this round are

1. Tell me about yourself

2. What are your strengths and weaknesses?

3. Why do you think you are fit for this role?

4. Name the major data structures used in RDBMS, Network data model & Hierarchical data model.

5. What is Coupling in OOP and why it is helpful?

6. Which operator in SQL performs pattern-matching?

7. What are tree traversals?

8. What is the maximum number of nodes in a binary tree of height k?

9. Describe the objective of multi-programming.

10. What is ER Model?

11. Explain your major project.

DXC Technology On Campus Interview Experience

Job Role: Associate Professional Software Developer

Basically, this round consists of 2 rounds, an Online Aptitude round and a Personal Interview round. All the rounds happened in the Aspiring Minds AMCAT platform.

Round 1: Online Aptitude Round

This is the first round in the DXC Technology Selection Process. This round consists of 3 sections Aptitude, Technical, and Logical reasoning. In the Aptitude section questions related to Profit and Loss, Calendar, Clock, Trains, Speed, etc. were asked. In the Technical section, questions related to DBMS, Operating Systems, and C++ were asked. The last section is the logical reasoning section, where questions are based on number series, verbal reasoning, and some from English Grammar. This is an elimination round, whereas, out of 1600 students 500 were selected for the PI round.

Round 2: Personal Interview

This round is a mix of technical and HR round. The interviewer asked a few questions on programming and DBMS. Also, questions related to basic array rotation were asked. Followed by this, some questions based on my resume were asked. Finally, out of 500 candidates, 200 got selected and given the offer letters. Here I have mentioned some questions that have been asked in my DXC Technology Personal Interview.

2. Tell me about your academics and if you have any backlog.

3. What are your strengths and weaknesses?

4. Have you had any gaps in your academic years?

DXC Technology Interview Experience for Associate Professional

Round 1: Online Aptitude Round

The initial test was an online aptitude round. And the test was conducted on the AMCAT platform. There were 5 sections included in this round. Which are Quantitative Section, Logical Reasoning, English, Essay Writing, and Completing the pseudocode.

The Quantitative section has 16 questions. Once you answer a question, you were not allowed to go back to the previous question.

The Completing the pseudocode section includes 7 coding questions which are to be completed in 20 minutes. Out of 7 questions, I have answered only 4. Though you answer only 2, you will pass this test.

The topic that was given for easy writing is Technology is becoming a new addiction. This round is whether to check you have good knowledge of English or not.

I have got selected for this round and later I was called for the second round, which is the Technical and HR Interview.

Round 2: Technical and HR Round

On clearing the online assessment round, I was called for round 2 which is the DXC Technology Technical and HR Round.

4. Which language you prefer to code and why.

5. Discussion about my project
