E Medhabruti Scholarship Objective

The objective of providing the E Medhabruti Scholarship is to help financially for the meritorious students of Odisha for their higher studies. The Higher Education Department of Odisha offers scholarships for categories of Junior Merit, Senior Merit, PG Merit and Technical/ Professional Standards of Education.

E Medhabruti Scholarship Rewards

• For Junior merit INR 3000 given for 1000 Candidates given for 2 years.
• For Senior merit INR 5000 given for 3000 Candidates given for 2 years.
• For PG merit INR 10000 given for 1500 Candidates given for 2 years.
• For Technical/Professional merit INR 10000 given for 10000 Candidates as per the course.

Eligibility Criteria for E Medhabruti Scholarship

The Candidate must be a permanent resident of Odisha State. The Candidates parental annual income from all sources should not be more than Rs.6 lakh per annum. The Candidate must have secured minimum of 60% marks in the past examination. The Candidate can apply only in the year of joining ie., 1st year of the course. Along with these following are applicable according to course.

• For Junior merit scholarship The Candidate Must have passed HSC with 60% or more marks from an institution recognized by BSE, Odisha/ CBSE/ ICSE/ Equivalent boards and pursuing regular +2 courses of 10+2 pattern.
• For Senior merit scholarship, The Candidate Must have passed +2 of CHSE, Odisha/ Class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 60% marks from an institution recognized by BSE, Odisha/ CBSE/ ICSE and pursuing regular degree course/ +3 course in any of the recognized colleges/ Institutions and Universities.
• For Post Graduate Merit The Candidate Must have passed a +3 degree or equivalent exam with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized institute and pursuing a course in any of the recognized colleges/ Universities/ Institutions.
• For Technical Professional Merit The Candidate Must have passed +2 of CHSE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ Equivalent 3 year course (only for MBS/ MCA/ MFC/ MSW) with a minimum of 60% marks. and pursuing regular technical & professional courses in the recognized colleges/ Institutions.

Documents Required for E Medhabruti Scholarship

• The Candidates Nativity Certificate.
• The Candidates Pzarent annual Income Certificate.
• Domicile certificate issued by Tahasildar/ Add. Tahasildar.
• The students who are working under the Odisha state Govt. can produce resident proof from the employer.
• The Candidate Mark sheet & certificate of last qualifying examination.
• The Candidate Bank account details ie., first-page bank account containing account number and IFSC code.
