- The primary responsibility of this role is to provide design support for New Product Development and current product engineering-related projects for Torque Control Products.
- The applicant needs to closely work with the technical lead to provide timely support and ensure deliverables are in line with the project schedule.
- The role is to support design activities from concept to launch of the product in coordination with various internal stakeholders like test lab, manufacturing, and project management.
- The applicant should be proficient with 3D drafting tools like Creo and tolerance stack-ups for product design.
- Good to have hands-on knowledge of design for Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
- The applicant must be self-motivated and possess good communication skills with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare packaging layouts, and design concepts in 3D drafting tools Creo for current product engineering and NPI projects.
- Demonstrate and leverage knowledge of engineering fundamentals and analytical skills to leverage analysis analysis-first approach.
- Perform assembly stack-up & tolerance stack-up analysis to do design optimization.
