Flipkart GRiD 5.0 Eligibility & Team Rules
- Open to students pursuing B.Tech/ B.E./ B.S./ M.Tech/ M.S or related Engineering Programs across ALL Engineering Colleges in India (Batch 2024, 2025, 2026 & 2027)
- Team registration must consist of 1 to 3 members
- Students from any specialization are eligible to participate
- The batch of 2023 is not eligible for this competition
- Each individual can only be a member of one team
- Failure to adhere to the above rules will lead to immediate disqualification of the entire team
Flipkart GRiD 5.0 Stages
The Software Development Track consists of three elimination levels designed to assess your technical, analytical, and ideation skills. The National Finale provides an opportunity for finalists to present their solutions to a panel of domain experts at Flipkart.
Demo Quiz Round
Participants are advised to complete a Demo quiz round in order to familiarize themselves with the platform. Please note that this round is not intended for elimination or evaluation purposes.
- Start Date: 9th June 2023, 01:00 PM IST
- End Date: 13th July 2023, 09:00 AM IST
Level 1: E-Commerce & Tech Quiz
- All registered teams are required to participate in an online quiz.
- Every member of a team is eligible to take part in the quiz round.
- The team’s score will be determined by the average marks of the team members who attempt the quiz.
- The quiz will be conducted simultaneously for all teams within the designated quiz window.
- Participants will be ranked based on both accuracy (score) and speed (finish time). In the case of teams with the same score, the team that finishes earlier will receive a higher ranking.
- Teams will advance to the next level based on their performance in this assessment.
- The quiz will cover E-Commerce Trivia (Reference: https://stories.flipkart.com) and Tech, including Technology Awareness, Techstack, and Computer Science Fundamentals.
Level 2: Submission Round
- Shortlisted teams from level 1 will advance to level 2.
- Each team will receive a problem statement aligned with their selected domain area of interest after level 1.
- Teams will be assigned only one problem statement to work on.
- Submissions for this level can be made anytime until the deadline within the challenge window.
- Candidates have the option to compress their videos.
- In this level, teams are expected to submit a functional proof of concept along with a demo video and code submission.
- Teams’ progression to the next level will depend on their performance in this level.
Level 3: The National Finale
During the final level of GRiD, the selected finalists will receive an invitation to present and demonstrate their solutions to a panel of domain experts at Flipkart.
Flipkart GRiD 5.0 Rewards and Prizes
- Participants have the chance to win appealing prizes and also get the opportunity to be involved in the hiring process for Tech Internships & Full-Time Roles. The internship stipend is set at INR 1,00,000 per month, while the compensation for the SDE-1 role is INR 32 LPA.
- The winners will receive EGVs (Electronic Gift Vouchers) worth INR 1,50,000*, and the first runners-up will receive EGVs worth INR 75,000*.
- Certificates of merit will be provided to the following:
- Top 20 teams per college
- Level 1 qualifying teams
- Finalists
Flipkart GRiD 5.0 Career Opportunities
- Top teams qualifying for level 2 will have the opportunity to participate in the hiring process for internship and full-time tech roles at Flipkart.
