The following is the selection process for Gauhati High Court LDA, Copyist, Computer Assistant (Principal Seat), and Computer Assistant (Law Research Institute) posts.
- Stage 1: Written-test

Gauhati High Court Exam Pattern 2024 | LDA, Copyist, Computer Assistant
The Written Examination (Objective type multiple choice) for two hours duration on OMR answer scripts testing English Proficiency, General Knowledge, General Aptitude and Reasoning, Technical Knowledge as well as knowledge of the Assamese Language. The Assamese language segment will be of qualifying nature and candidates securing at least 41% marks i.e. 8 out of 20 marks in this segment shall be treated as qualified to appear in the Interview/ Viva-voce. Viva-voce/ Interview will be of 20 marks. The final selection will be made based on the total marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and Interview/ Viva-Voce.
