GOKDOM Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Minority Community candidates can apply for the GOKDOM scholarship 2020. The brief details can be given in the below table.
For Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities of Karnataka
- The candidate must belong to class 1st to 10th standard.
- The applicant must have above 50% in the previous examinations.
- The family income of the student should not be more than Rs.1 lakh per annum.
- The applicant must be a native of Karnataka.
- The student who is the domicile of Karnataka but studying in other states can apply for the scholarship.
Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities of Karnataka
- Applicants must belong to class 11th to Ph.D. level can apply.
- The candidate must score above 50% in the previous examinations.
- The family income of the student should not more than Rs.2 lakhs per annum.
- A student pursuing studies through correspondence or certificate/ training level courses cannot apply.
- The students belonging to other states who are studying in Karnataka cannot apply.
Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship for Minorities, Karnataka
- The student must be pursuing graduation or post-graduation in a professional/ technical stream.
- The marks obtained by the candidate must be above 50% in previous examinations.
National Overseas Scholarship for Minority Community Students, Karnataka
- The applicant’s age should not be more than 38 years from the commencement of the course.
- The marks obtained by the candidate in the previous examination must be 60%.
- The scholarship is applicable for selective courses only.
The incentive for SSLC & 2nd PUC students, in Karnataka
- The candidate must have 85% or above in class 10th or 12th.
M.Phil and Ph.D. Fellowship for Minority Students, Karnataka
- The age of the applicant should not be more than 35 years.
- The family income of the student should be less than Rs.6 lakh.
- Government employees or full-time employees are not eligible to apply.
