- Managing a small high-output team that works directly with a US-based analysis team.
- Analyzing financial statements, building and maintaining detailed financial models and valuations of listed companies within the global property and casualty insurance market.
- Actively tracking news/corporate announcements/regulations and study the impact on sectors under coverage.
- Tracking the designated sector and writing sectoral and results preview/review reports.
- Assisting in initiating coverage and bringing new insurers under coverage.
- Creating a financial and strategic overview of a given insurer to provide to those closest to the account.
- Attend management calls & prepare earnings/ management meets/ conference notes and updates.
- Conducting on-ground research/channel checks/lateral meets for a better view on the sector.
Guidewire Off Campus 2024 – Qualification and Skills
- 1-3 years of managerial experience in a small team.
- An empathetic leader who cares for results and team members in order to get the best from their team.
- Strong understanding of financial terms, valuations, balance sheets, etc.
