Candidate #1 Hexaware Latest Interview Experience (Off Campus)

Job Role – Graduate Engineer Trainee

Status – Selected

Recruitment Type – Off Campus

I’ve registered for Hexaware Off Campus Drive. And later the recruitment team of Hexaware sent a mail confirmation stating the My First round was scheduled on so and so date.

Below is the whole process that I went through for Hexaware. I completed every round through virtual only.

• Online Assessment (Aptitude/ Online Test)
• Technica Interview Round
• SpeechX and Writing Skill Test
• Learning Agility Round
• HR Interview

Round 1: Online Assessment

• Total Questions – 78 Questions
• Duration – 90 Mins
• Type of Questions – Multiple Choice Questions
• Difficulty Level – Moderate

The whole paper was divided into 2 sections. The 1st part contains questions from aptitude, verbal, critical thinking, logical reasoning topics. And the 2nd part contains questions related to my core background (which is B.Tech (CSE)).

The result for this round was not announced immediately, the officials send an email after a few weeks stating that I’ve been through 1st round, and they gave the schedule for the 2nd round which is TR.

Round 2: Technical Interview

Duration – 30 mins

Interview Mode – Online through Microsoft Teams

Note: As the interview is through MS Teams I’ve joined a few minutes before the actual interview time because as you know the setup takes time if there is a network issue. I recommend the same to you guys.

I was actually very nervous when the interview started but the interviewer made me comfortable and I became normal and answered the questions confidently. Finally, check out the below questions to get the gist of my Hexaware Technical Interview Experience.

1. Tell me something about yourself

2. Have you done any internships?

3. What projects have you done till now

4. Which tools you had used in the project?

5. What was your role in that project?

6. What was the purpose of making that project?

7. Can you write a program to print the third-largest number? (This was a yes/ no question).

8. Write a program in C to print the first 5 Fibonacci series.

9. Write a program to print the second largest number in an array of 6 integers.

At the end of the interview, the interviewer asked me if I had any questions for him. And that has concluded my round 2. Further, the same day itself I’ve got confirmation that I was shortlisted for the next round which is the SpeechX and Writing Skill Test, which will be conducted on the next day.

Round 3: SpeechX and Writing Skill Test

Basically, the whole test is divided into 5 parts.

• First – Reading Test
• Second – Just a Minute (3 topics were given, I had to speak on all the 3 topics for 1 min)
• Third – Grammar Test (34 Questions – 10 Mins)
• Fourth – Comprehension Passage
• Fifth – Essay Writing Test (Write an essay on a topic given by them with not more than 200 words)

If you have command over English this round will be very easy for you.

Round 4: Learning Agility Round

This is not an elimination round, so you don’t need to feel nervous. This round is Psychometric Test. And it contains 18 questions and I was given 25 mins. At the end of the day, I’ve got a mail stating that I was shortlisted for the final round which is HR.

Round 5: HR Interview

This round is also conducted in MS Teams. The interviewer tested whether he was audible or not. And then he started the interview. Below are the questions that can help you know about my Hexaware HR Interview Experience is like.

2. Tell me something about your hobbies

3. Tell me something about your family background

4. Why do you want to join Hexaware?

5. Why should we hire you?

6. Are you ready to relocate?

7. Are you comfortable with your job location where we have given it?

8. Do you have any pending backlogs or any education gaps?

9. How can we control the current pandemic situation?

They haven’t immediately said anything about whether I was selected or not. He told me that he will get back to me shortly. And the very next day I’ve received a mail stating that I’ve been selected for the Graduate Engineer Trainee role also received my Letter of Intent too.

Candidate #2 Hexaware On Campus Interview Experience

Status – Selected

Difficulty Level – Easy to Moderate

Round 1 – Aptitude Test

This round consists of 4 sections.

• Quants – 48 Questions – 48 Mins
• English – 48 Questions – 15 Mins
• Logical – 48 Questions – 48 Mins
• Technical/ Computer MCQ’s – 30 Questions – 30 Mins

I’ve successfully cleared this round and got the result and I was allowed to appear for the Technical Round.

Round 2 – Technical Interview

The technical round is conducted on the Microsoft Teams platform due to the Covid situation. As I’ve already shared my resume the interviewer asked random questions to know a little bit about me. And then, he asked technical questions mostly from the Java concept. If you are from a computer science background, you need to have basic command over OOPS Concepts, DBMS Queries, SDLC Models.

1. Introduce yourself

2. Which Co-curricular activities have you taken part in?

3. Do you know Java?

4. Explain Oops Concept

5. Open the Online editor for C and write a program to print alternate prime numbers.

6. Do you know SDLC models?

7. What is the Agile model?

8. How would you rate yourself in DBMS

9. Open Online Sqlite Compiler and write a query for the 3rd last score from the class table.

Round 3 – Communication Assessment

Duration – 1 hour

This round tests your pronunciation of particular words, your vocabulary, and your grammar. This test is taken in the Mettl platform.

• Section 1 – Reading Test
• Section 2 – Listening Test
• Section 3 – Similar to JAM (You need to record for 1 min on a simple topic)
• Section 4 – Essay Writing Test (Write an essay on a topic given by them with not more than 200 words in 15 mins)

And next day I’ve got a mail stating I was shortlisted for the next round which is the Learning Ability round.

Round 4 – Learning Ability

This is an easy round and is similar to Psychometric Test. All you have to do is select Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, Strongly Disagree options.

And the same day itself I’ve got a mail proclaiming that I’d been shortlisted for the final round which is HR.

Round 5 – HR Interview

My HR round was completed within 15 mins. This round was taken on the Microsoft Teams platform.
