IACS Exam 2020 – Important Dates

IACS 2020 Eligibility Criteria – UG, PG, Ph.D.

Integrated Bachelor’s – Master’s Program in Science

All the candidates who are going to apply for the Integrated Bachelor’s – Master’s Program in Science Course must qualify the conditions given below.

• Candidates must be Indian Nationals.
• And the candidates must have qualified 10+2 examination with first division or 60% or equivalent grade in both 10th and 12th level of exams.
• Also, the candidates from the reserved category must have a minimum of 50% in 10+2 examination with first division or equivalent grade in both 10th and 12th levels of exams.
• And those candidates who have appeared in the 10+2 examination can also apply.

Master’s / Integrated Master’s – Ph.D. Programme

• All the candidates must be of Indian nationality.
• The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering with a minimum first division in 10th and 12th class.
• And the candidates must have a minimum of 60% or equivalent in bachelor to apply.

Ph.D. Program in Autumn Semester

• The candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% in masters.
• Also, the candidates must have qualified UGC NET/ UGC -CSIR/ GATE/ JEST or equivalent national level examination.

IACS 2020 Application Fee

Candidates can pay the Application Fee through Online. There is a non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 1200 (Rs. 600 for SC/ ST and Ph.D. candidates only).

Steps To Submit Online IACS 2020 Application Form

• Open the official portal @ www.iacs.res.in.
• The home page of the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) will be displayed on the screen.
• On landing the home page, candidates can find the Academic Notice Board section.
• In this section, search for the Admission Notice 2020 (UG-PG, Int. M.Sc/Ph.D. & Ph.D. Autumn Semester) link.
• After finding the link, press on it.
• Now, search for the For online application and press on it.
• Later, enter the login details.
• Hit on Submit.
• Your IACS Application Form will be displayed on the screen.
• Later, download and take a hard copy of the IACS Application Form for future use.

The officials of the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) will release the IACS 2020 Admit Card on their official site in the month of August 2020 tentatively. So, candidates who have applied for the UG Pre-Interview Screening Test (UPST)/ Master’s Pre-Interview Screening Test (MPST), they can only have the scope to download the IACS 2020 Admit Card. All the eligible candidates need to appear for UG Pre-Interview Screening Test (UPST), MPST. It is a computer-based online test. There will be only multiple-choice questions. Also, there is no negative marking in the test. So, prepare well for the test with the given pattern.
