Ph.D. with good academic record. Candidates about to submit their thesis are eligible to
apply, provided they can complete their defense before the appointment if selected.
IGIDR Assistant Professor Salary Details
- Candidates with 3 or more years of post – Ph.D. experience:
- Eligible for appointment on a contractual basis.
- Basic pay is set at Level 12, Cell No. 1: INR 1,01,500.
- Total gross salary, including House Rent Allowance (HRA), is INR 1,81,759.
- Note: If the candidate opts for institute accommodation, they won’t receive HRA.
- Candidates with less than 3 years of post – Ph.D. experience:
- Initially, they will be considered for appointment on a contractual basis at:
- Level 10, Cell No. 8: Basic pay of INR 70,900.
- Total gross salary, including HRA: INR 1,30,045.
- After 1 year, they will progress to:
- Level 11, Cell No. 3: Basic pay of INR 73,100.
- Total gross salary, including HRA: INR 1,33,763.
- After 3 years of experience, they will move to:
- Level 12, Cell No. 1: Basic pay of INR 1,01,500.
- Total gross salary, including HRA: INR 1,81,759.
- As with the more experienced candidates, if the individual chooses institute accommodation, HRA won’t be applicable.
- Initially, they will be considered for appointment on a contractual basis at:
