IIIT Delhi M.Tech 2020 Eligibility
M.Tech. (CSE): Both GATE and Non-GATE candidates with B.Tech./BE or MCA/MSc in CS/IT(& its allied areas) with 65% marks are eligible to apply for admission.
M.Tech. (ECE): Both GATE and Non-GATE candidates with B.Tech/BE in ECE/EE (& its allied areas) or MSc in Electronics (for ECE) with 65% marks are eligible to apply for admission.
M.Tech. CB
- B.Tech/BE in CS/IT/Math-and-Computing or B.Tech/BE in any other discipline, MCA
MSc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Bioinformatics, Biomedical sciences), B.Pharm, MBBS - In addition, all applicants must have 65% in the qualifying exam and a valid GATE score in any GATE paper which is relevant to the qualifying degree as mentioned above. The applicants must have at least 60% in all previous degrees including 10+2. Applicants who do not satisfy the above criteria will not be able to submit the application form.

The selection for M.Tech. admission will comprise of three stages (for both GATE & Non-GATE).
M.Tech. CSE
- 1st Stage (Applicable for both GATE & Non-GATE): The GATE applicants will be screened based on their previous academic record as well as GATE scores. Non-GATE candidates will be screened based on their previous academic records only.
- 2nd Stage (GATE): The screened candidates (GATE) have to appear for a Coding Test at IIIT-Delhi.
- 2nd Stage (Non-GATE): The screened candidates (Non-GATE) have to appear for a written exam and coding test at IIIT-Delhi.
- 3rd Stage (Applicable for both GATE & Non-GATE): Depending on the results of the test(s) and previous academic Record, qualified candidates will be interviewed, which will also take place at IIIT-Delhi campus.
M.Tech. ECE
- 1st Stage (Applicable for both GATE & Non-GATE): The GATE applicants will be screened based on their previous academic record as well as GATE scores. Non-GATE candidates will be screened based on their previous academic records only.
- 2nd Stage (Applicable only for Non-GATE): The screened candidates (Non-GATE) have to appear for a written exam at IIIT-Delhi.
- 3rd Stage (Applicable for both GATE & Non-GATE): Depending on the results of the test and previous academic record, qualified candidates will be invited to take part in the third stage (Interview), which will also take place in IIIT-Delhi campus.
M.Tech. CB
- 1st Stage: The applicants will be screened based on their previous academic record as well as the GATE score. Applicants will be invited to IIIT-Delhi to participate in the second stage.
- 2nd Stage (Non-GATE): The screened candidates have to appear for a written exam at IIIT-Delhi. Depending on the results of this test, candidates will be invited to take part in the third stage, which will also take place in IIIT-Delhi.
