Their collaboration aims to provide vocational training to marginalized communities, particularly focusing on states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh. Through this partnership, ISKCON and NSDC seek to uplift these communities by equipping them with practical skills that can enhance their employability and livelihood opportunities.

ISKCON and NSDC Collaborate to Launch Culinary School
ISKCON’s latest initiative involves setting up a Culinary School with a special focus on empowering tribal youth from areas like Palghar and Gadchiroli in Maharashtra, along with neighboring states. The trained individuals will get opportunities for employment at the Maha Kumbh Kitchen in Prayagraj, and there are also provisions for international placements through NSDC International.

Trained individuals will get the chance to work at the upcoming Maha Kumbh Kitchen in Prayagraj in 2025, with opportunities for international placements facilitated in partnership with NSDC International.
Empowering Tribal Youth through Vocational Training
In this collaboration, short-term courses will be organized, providing industry-recognized certifications through the Skill India Digital Hub platform. The objective is to improve employability and offer access to both domestic and international job opportunities for the trained individuals, supported by NSDC International.
Programs for Sustainable Development
Two additional projects are planned for implementation. The first project aims to replicate the success of the Govardhan Eco Village (GEV) in areas like Nandurbar (Maharashtra), Jaipur Rural (Rajasthan), and Mandla and Balaghat (Madhya Pradesh). The second project focuses on skill development in sectors such as Hospitality, Retail, and Logistics, by establishing Skill India Centers in collaboration with ISKCON.
