No Jharkhand e-Pass Required For Following Cases
- Officers/ officials of the Government of India, and it’s autonomous/ subordinate offices, and CPSUs, on Producing a valid ID Card.
- All Judicial Officers/ officials/ Advocates/ Legal Counsels/ Staff members of all courts of the state (Honourable High Court/ District Courts/ Tribunals on Producing a valid ID card/ Service ID card/ photo entry passes/ permission letters issued by the court administration.
- Officers/ officials of the Government of Jharkhand, it’s autonomous/ subordinate offices and PSUs on Producing a valid ID Card.
- All private medical personnel such as doctors, nursing staff, paramedical, etc, and other hospital services (such as hospital, diagnostic centers, testing laboratories, clinics, pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies, oxygen supplies, medical instruments and consumables, sanitation, security, etc) on Producing a valid ID card.
- Pregnant women/ patient/ attendant for getting medical/ health services on Producing a valid I card/ doctor’s prescription/ medical papers.
- Persons going for COVID-19 testing/ vaccination on Producing a valid ID card.
- Electronic and print media personnel on Producing a valid ID card.
- Persons coming from/ going to airports/ railway stations on Producing a valid ticket.
- Persons/ Students shall be allowed to appear in examination of Producing valid admit cards. The Examination staff deployed for examination duty shall be allowed to travel on the production of a valid ID card.
- Interstate and intrastate movement/ transportation of goods.
- Personnel of Industrial establishments/ mining companies on Producing a valid ID card/ duty pass.
- Personnel engaged in repair and maintenance of electricity/ water supply/ telecommunications/ municipal services on production of valid ID card.
- Any person/ organization whom the District Administration considers important in the control of COVID-19 on Production of a certificate issued by the district administration to this effect.
- Participation in the last rites.
- Movement of farmers for the purpose of selling agricultural produce.
2. Other than the exceptions mentioned above Jharkhand e-Pass shall be required for all movements by a personal vehicle as before.
3. All state government offices which were earlier not allowed to open shall function with a maximum of 1/3 rd staff strength till 2 PM while ensuring the social distancing. And the attendance of officers of Joint Secretary rank and above shall be mandatory.
4. All the departments under the Government of Jharkhand and all the district administrations are directed to ensure compliance with the above.

- Move on to the official site @ epassjharkhand.nic.in.
- The Home Page appears on the screen.
- There the aspirants should select the type of epass options required from the drop-down list.
- Then click on the User Registration Tab at the top of the page.
- Enter the Mobile Number, Password. Confirm them and click on the submit button.
- Now, return back to the home page and enter the Mobile Number and Password.
- Then the Jharkhand e-Pass Application Form will be displayed and fill all the required details in the fields and upload the documents in the required formats.
- Print the Jharkhand e-Pass Application Form by clicking the view epass in the dashboard at the left side of the screen and keep it for additional usage.
