JSSC JMSCCE Syllabus 2024
The JSSC Municipal Service Exam is comprised of three papers, with each paper having a time duration of 2 hours. Each question in the exam carries a weightage of 3 marks. Paper-1 encompasses 120 questions covering Hindi Language and English Language. In Paper-2, candidates will find 100 questions related to Tribal and Regional Languages. Lastly, Paper-3 consists of 150 questions covering subjects such as Technical/ Specific Topics, General Studies, General Mathematics, and General Science.

JSSC JMSCCE Exam Pattern 2024
The examination will be taken in one phase (Main Examination). Moreover, all the questions in the examination will be objective type with multiple-choice answers. Except for language subjects, the questions of other subjects will be in Hindi and English language. There will be 3 papers for the main examination which will be conducted in 3 shifts.

Note: The minimum qualifying mark in Paper-I (Language Knowledge) examination is 30% (thirty percent). Candidates obtaining marks less than this will be considered unsuccessful/ ineligible for selection for appointment and Paper-2 and Paper-3 of such candidates will not be evaluated. Similarly, question paper-3 of the candidates who get less than 30 percent marks in marked regional/ tribal language question paper-2 will not be evaluated.
Marking Scheme
- For each correct answer, 3 (three) marks will be awarded
- For each wrong answer, 1 (one) mark will be deducted.

a) Technical/ Specific Topics: Candidates have to check the below attached JSSC Municipal Services Exam Syllabus 2024 to know the Technical/ Specific Topics & their Sub topics of Economics, Mathematics, Commerce, Statistics, Horticulture, Agricultural Science. b) General Studies: In this, the purpose of the questions will be to check the general knowledge of the candidate and his ability in relation to their application in society. Knowledge of current events and day-to-day happenings with minute observation and scientific approach towards them, which is expected of any educated person. In this, as many questions as possible can be asked specifically in relation to Jharkhand, India, and neighboring countries. Current Affairs, Scientific Progress, National/International Awards, Indian Languages, Books, Scripts, Capital, Currency, Sports Players, and Important Events. History of India, Culture, Geography, Environment, Economic Scenario, Freedom Movement, Salient Features of Indian Agriculture and Natural Resources and Constitution and Polity of India, Political System of the Country, Panchayati Raj, Community Development, Five Year Plan.

c) General Mathematics: This topic will generally have questions related to number arithmetic, elementary algebraic geometry, general trigonometry, area geometry. Usually it will have matric/10th class level questions.
