Karnataka TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Required Educational Qualification (For Classes 1 to 5)
- Should have scored 50% marks in PUC Senior Secondary (Sixth) Examination. And two years D.EL.Ed. Passed in second year of the course (by whatever name it is called) or appeared in the second year final examination [Candidates awaiting result, Or
- Must have secured minimum 50% marks in PUC/ Senior Secondary (Equivalent) Examination. And candidates who have passed four years of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or who are waiting for the results of appearing in the examination of the final semester of the final year, Or
- Must have secured at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary (equivalent) examination. And having passed two years Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR Candidates appearing for the second year, annual examination/ final semester examination and awaiting result, Or
- Candidates who must have secured at least 50% marks in graduation and passed second year of two year D.EL.Ed course (by whatever name) or appearing for second year, annual examination/final examination and awaiting result. Or
- Candidates who must have secured at least 50% marks in graduation and who have passed in B.ED degree or who have appeared for the final semester examination and are expecting the result.
Required Educational Qualification (For Classes 6 to 8)
- Candidates who must have secured at least 50% marks in graduation and passed second year of two years D.EL.Ed course (by whatever name) or second year prospective candidates, appear in final examination of year I and result. Or
- Candidates who must have secured at least 50% marks in graduation and who have passed in B.ED degree or who have appeared for final semester examination and are expecting result. Or
- P.U.C. Candidates who must have secured at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary (Equivalent) Examination and who have passed four years Bachelor, in, Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or appearing for final year/ semester examination and awaiting result, Or
- Must have secured at least 50% marks in PUC/ Senior Secondary (Equivalent) Examination and passed in four year degree or appearing for Final Year, Annual Examination/Final Semester examination and awaiting result. Or
- Candidates who must have secured at least 50% marks in graduation and who have passed two year B.ED (Special Education) degree or who have appeared for final semester examination and are expecting result.
