Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship (MAITS)

The Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship (MAITS) was started in 1995. And K. C. Mahindra Education Trust established the Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship. This scholarship is started to help the financialy in-need students and so awarded to students belonging to economically disadvantaged families. Every year 550 Candidates will be awarded Scholarship. This Scholarship was established to encourage and support young students from rural and urban areas to pursue job-oriented Diplomas.

Award Given To MAITS

Candidates who wish to pursue a job oriented Diploma course at a recognized Government Polytechnic in India will be awarded INR 10,000/- per annum upto 3years of the span.

Eligibility Criteria For KC Mahindra Scholarship

Students of First Year Diploma in government polytechnics are eligible for this scholarship. Students who have passed SSC/ HSC or equivalent examinations in the 10th/ 12th standard and have secured admission in government or any other recognized Polytechnic Institutes for diploma courses are eligible for this scholarship. Students who have secured more than 60 marks in the board examinations.

Please note:

Preference will be given to girl students, children from lower-income group families, differently-abled children, and children of armed forces. The cost of travel to the interview center, to a certain extent, will be paid.
The K. C. Mahindra Education Trust has also established several awards and scholarships for academia.

To build trust and further encourage teachers the Trust has set up the following:

The K. C. Mahindra Chair for Nuclear Chemistry at the Institute of Science in Mumbai and the Dhandevi Mahindra Scholarship Award at Sophia College, Mumbai.
The Kema Grants established in 1997 provides financial grants and scholarships to faculty members and staff of educational institutions.
