About KL University | kluniversity.in
In 1980 a trust was established by The Koneru Lakshmaiah Charities with its official address at Museum road, Governorpet, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, 520 002 and started Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering in the Academic year 1980-81. Later, the trust was converted into society by the name Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation in the year 1996. The KL College of Engineering has become autonomous in the year 2006. In February 2009 this college was recognized as Deemed to be University. Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation is Renamed as K L Deemed to be University.
KL University Admission Process
In KL University the admission process is different for undergraduate, Postgraduate, Ph.D. Programs, M.Phil, Etc. You have to write the KLEEE (KL Engineering Entrance Examination) test for this university. Students who have opted this university has to qualify in KLEEE/ JEE-Main/ JEE-Advanced/ Eamcet and Merit in Sports/ Cultural Activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- For B.Tech, the candidate must pass his 10+2 with 60% aggregate marks in their respective group subjects.
- For B.Arch, the candidate must complete his/ her Intermediate with 60% and qualified in both KLEEE and NATA Test.
- For B.Com (Hons.)/ BBA, the candidate must pass 10+2 with 50% or above. And the candidate has to qualify in the written test and in an interview conducted by the university.
- For B.F.A (Applied Arts & Crafts), the candidate should have a minimum of 55% marks and he hast to qualify the entrance exam conducted by the university.

If the candidate gets more than 85% in the qualifying exam then 25% of fees will be given. If he scores 60% – 85% then 20% will be given.
