LIC Assistant Selection Process 2020
All the applied aspirants are going to attend 2 tiers of examination. Those are given as follows:
- Preliminary Examination
- Mains Exam
Life Insurance Corporation Assistant Exam Pattern 2020 – Prelims & Mains
In this section, we had provided complete information regarding the LIC Assistant Exam pattern 2020 for both Preliminary & Mains Examination. So all the candidates check this section while preparing for the LIC Assistant written exam.
Phase – I: Prelims Exam Pattern
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test will be conducted online. The Written Exam will contain 3 sections namely: Reasoning, English Language / Hindi Language, Quantitative Aptitude.

- Qualification of a Preliminary exam is essential to appear for the Mains Exam. However, the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be combined with Mains for selection and final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II).

- The Objective Test will be online. The Objective Test will have separate timing for every section.
- The Candidates are required to qualify each of the Tests. There will be negative marks of wrong answers in Objective tests for the main examination.
- There will be negative marks of ¼ marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for the main examination.
- The time duration of the Mains Exam is 2 Hours 30 Minutes.
