Maulana Azad Medical College was established on 24th October 1959 which was inaugurated by the Union Home Minister Pandit Govindh BAllabh Pant. This college is sited in New Delhi, India. And also it was affiliated to the University of Delhi and run by the Delhi government. It was named after the Indian freedom fighter and first education minister of independent India Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.
