MPSC Civil Services Exam 2023 – Age Limit

The eligibility criteria for MPSC Gazetted Civil Services mandates that all applicants must be at least 18 or 19 years old. However, candidates applying for Amagas posts must be below the age of 38. If you belong to the backward category, then you are eligible to apply till the age of 43.

MPSC Civil Services Bharti 2023 – Educational Qualifications

  • Of the Constitutional University, with a minimum of 55 percent Bachelor’s degree, or
  • Passed the final examination of Chartered Accountant conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or
  • Passed the Final Examination in Expenditure Accounting or
  • Post Graduate Degree in Commerce from a Statutory College conducted by the Institute of Cost and Works Accounts, or
  • Degree (MBA) specializing in Finance Business Administration from an institution recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education.
2. Industrial Officer (Technical) Group-B
  • Degree in Engineering from a Statutory College (other than Civil Engineering as well as subjects affiliated to the groups of topics in Civil Engineering like Architecture, Town Planning, etc.) or Degree in Technology OR
  • Degree from a Statutory University in Science.
3. Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Group-A
  • In Mechanical or Automobile Engineering Minimum 4 years degree
  • Authorized to drive motorcycles with gears, light motor vehicles, and transport vehicles (heavy goods vehicles and heavy passenger vehicles) on the last date of submission of application for main examination. A valid driving license issued by the competent authority is required.
  • If not holding a valid license to drive heavy goods vehicles or, as the case may be, heavy goods vehicles, or both heavy goods vehicles and heavy passenger vehicles, on the last date of submission of application for the main examination, obtain a such license before the completion of the probationary period. Mandatory. Otherwise, the service shall be liable for termination.
  • The driving license shall be required to be renewed from time to time without any interruption.

Civil Engineering Services Examination:-

  • Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualification declared as equivalent by the Government of Maharashtra.
  • As per Government Decision, Department of Higher and Technical Education, No. Sankirna-2013 / (45/13)/ Part-1/ Tanshi-2, dated 18th October 2016 the following educational qualifications are equivalent to Civil Engineering Degree Course:-B.E./B.Tech. (Civil and Water Management), B.E. / B. Tech. (Civil and Environmental), B.E./ B.Tech. (Structural), and B.E./ B. Tech. (Construction Engineering/ Technology).

Maharashtra Electrical Engineering Service Examination:-

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualification declared as equivalent by the Government of Maharashtra.
  • As per Government Decision, Department of Higher and Technical Education, No. Sankirna-2013/ (45/13)/Part-1/Tanshi-2, dated 18th October 2016 the following qualifications are equivalent to Electrical Engineering Degree Course:- B.E./B. Tech.(Electrical and Power), B.E./ B. Tech. (Power System), B.E / B. Tech. (Electronics and power), and B.E./B. Tech. (Electrical and Electronics)

Inspector, Metrology:-

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering from a Constituent University or a Degree in Science (one of which is Physics).

Food and Drug Administrative Service Examination:-

  • Degree, Master’s Degree, or Doctorate from a recognized University in Food Technology, Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agriculture or Veterinary Science or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Chemistry or Medicine.
  • Equivalent or recognized qualification notified by the Food Authority with the approval of the Central Government.
  • Knowledge of the Marathi language is required.

Candidates appearing in the final year examination of the degree will be eligible for admission to the preliminary examination. But if qualified for admission to the main examination, it will be mandatory to pass the degree examination by the last date of submission of necessary information and examination fee in the prescribed manner for admission to the main examination.

A degree holder requiring internship or practical work experience in a workshop should have fulfilled the condition regarding educational qualification by the prescribed date of receipt of information/ application for the main examination.
