About NIMS Hyderabad – nims.edu.in
Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences was established in 1961 which is situated at Punjagutta in Hyderabad. This Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences is under the Act under the Act of Andhra Pradesh State Legislature. NIMS is recognized by the Medical Council of India.
NIMS was organized under the supervision of Governing Council, Executive Board, Director, and the other statutory bodies. The main objective of developing in a full-fledged super specialty hospital for patient care, research and training, on 25 March 1986 , the Government has transferred the NIOS to IMS under the name of Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, when Nandamuri Taraka Ramaraoas the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, with Kakarla Subba Rao as the first Director.
NIMS Hyderabad Admissions
- B.Sc (Nursing) and BPT admissions are based on the marks scored in the NIMSET examination. Which is conducted by the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences.
- B.Sc Nursing courses are only for female candidates.
- DM and M.Ch admissions are allotted based on the score obtained in the NEET SS entrance examination, followed by counselling.
- Candidates need to appear in personal interviews at the research level.
- Candidates seeking for MD and MS admissions. They should appear for the NEET PG. Applications for NEET can be available in the official site.
- PG Diploma full time and part-time admissions can be done based on the marks obtained at the undergraduate level in relevant subjects.
- MHM admissions offered based on the marks qualified their undergraduate courses in any discipline.
