Ocwen Internships 2024 – Responsibilities
- Assist the Secondary team in updating the pricing & risk management system used to value the loan position.
- Produce and enhance existing analytics suite to be used to support trading and P&L explain activities.
- Review daily pipeline reports to identify and resolve issues, deviations, or areas of concern.
- Work with Traders to remediate any issues with the systems related to valuations or position management.
- Support the buildout of new MSR, Margin, and/ or Price adjusters within the Compass Point application.
- Assist with the development of rate sheets, heatmaps, and valuation calculations for existing and new products.
- Support the development of daily analytics to monitor the position and automate early detection of issues.
- Assist error or issue tracking and provide root cause analysis.
Ocwen Internship Opportunities 2024 – Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s degree preferred; with a focus in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in secondary marketing, trading, valuations, and/or capital markets.
- Ability to interface confidently with internal/ external parties.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are highly preferred, and SQL or programming experience is preferred.
- Strong data analysis experience is required.
