Odisha DET Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria
1st Semester Diploma in Engineering/ Technology
- Educational Qualifications: Candidates should pass the HSC/10th examination from the recognized board and university BSE, Odisha.
- Marks: Students have to score secure 35% aggregate marks in Maths, Science, and English and 30% marks in each subject.
- Age Limit: The age of the candidate must be 14 years for all courses except mining and drilling.
3rd Semester (Lateral Entry) Diploma in Engineering and Technology
- Education Qualification: Students must qualify in the 12th or equivalent with PCM stream from the council of HSE, Odisha.
- Marks: Candidate must be passed 10th with a minimum of 35% marks.
- Age Limit: The minimum age limit for this course is 14 years. No upper age limit is applicable.
Film & TV Courses
- Educational Qualifications: Candidate must pass the 12th examination in the science stream for state board CBSE/ ICSE.
- Marks: The minimum marks in the qualifying exam are 30% aggregate. For Film & Video Editing, candidates have to pass 10+2 in science/arts/ commerce stream from any board with a minimum of 35% of aggregate marks.
- Age Limit: Candidates age limit must lie between 16 to 28 years as on 1st June 2020. There is relaxation is 3 years that will be given to SC/ST categories.
1st Semester Diploma Non-Engineering Courses
- Educational Qualifications: Students must qualify 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline is compulsory.
- Marks: The candidate must obtain 35% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam. 30% of marks in each subject are also mandatory to score.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 16 years for HM & CT/MOM and 14 years for beauty cultures. For 1st year diploma in pharmacy course, the candidate must pass the 12th exam in PCM/PCB by securing 35% of marks. For the beauty culture course, the educational qualification is the same as for the 2nd-semester Engineering/Technology course.
