OSSC CGL Syllabus 2024
The first stage is the Preliminary Examination, which follows the Computer-Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode. In this stage, you will encounter Multiple Choice Questions with a total of 150 marks to be completed within 150 minutes. The second stage is the Main Written Examination, which comprises two papers. Paper-I focuses on Language (Odia and English) and is conducted in Pen and Paper mode, with a weightage of 100 marks and a duration of 2 and 1/2 hours. Paper II, dedicated to General Studies, also follows the Pen and Paper mode and carries 100 marks with a duration of 2 and 1/2 hours. OSSC CGL Exam Pattern 2024
Given below tabular forms state the information about the OSSC CGL Exam Pattern 2024.
- There will be a penalty (Negative marking) for wrong answers marked by the candidate in examinations consisting of Multiple Choice Questions. The Quantum of penalty/ negative marking will be 1/4 of the total mark for each wrong answer if four options are there, 1/3 of the total marks if three options are there, and so forth.
- Qualifying marks in the Computer Skill Test as well as the Mathematics Test, will be 50% of the total. examinations and having qualified
- Based on the performance in two papers of the main written in Mathematics or Computer Skill Tests whatever is applicable, candidates will be shortlisted for document verification.
