Nirmala Sitharaman today announced Rs 1.70 Lakh Crore relief package under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana for the poor to help them fight the battle against Corona Virus. Consequently, this PM Garib Kalyan Yojana allows individuals to deposit money that has not been taxed. Under the scheme, 50% of the untaxed amount must be paid. To help the poor and downtrodden people affected by COVID-19 lockdown, 5 KG of rice or wheat will be provided for the next three months through this Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana Scheme. Through this PMGKY Scheme, approximately 80 Crore people will be benefited from our country.

PM Garib Kalyan Yojana Benefits
PMGKY Yojana offers various schemes such as,
- PM Kisan Yojana) for Farmers (2000/- Send in April First Week)
- Ration Card Holders (80 Crore People) – 5 KG Ration Free of Cost.
- For {Widow, Poor Citizens, Disabled, Senior Citizens} – 1000/- (For Next Three Months),
