PMSSS JK Scholarship | AICTE JK Scholarship Status: AICTE J&K Scholarship is also known as the PMSSS Scholarship which is meant for all the students who are residents of Jammu & Kashmir. Those who are willing to get higher education in various fields such as Pharmacy, Hotel Management, and Catering Technology, Engineering and Technology, Nursing, Architecture, Medical and General, Crafts and Design, Arts education.
This PMSSS J&K Scholarship Scheme is also applicable for Diploma passed students who want to do graduation in Engineering and Technology as LE (2nd Year B.E/ B.Tech). Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS), J&K is a type of Scholarship opportunity for only J&K Citizens. The officials will release approximately 5000 Fresh Scholarships every year for studying the in best academic institutions outside J&K. This scholarship is administered by the All India Council for Technical Education, the AICTE JK Scholarship executed within the state by J&K Cell.

AICTE PMSSS JK Scholarship Eligibility
- Students should be State Subject (domicile) of J&K State
- Students should have Passed the 10+2 Exam from JKBOSE or CBSE-affiliated schools located in J&K
- Overall Family income of the student should not exceed Rs. 8.00 Lakh per annum
- Students should have Passed a 10+3 Diploma from J&K State Polytechnic for admission directly in the second year in the prescribed list of Colleges against the vacant seats of the previous year
If a student is not eligible
- Students are persevering in their studies within open universities.
- The students are already undergoing financial assistance under this plan or any other scholarship scheme.
- Students getting admission within the management quota.
- The students getting admission within NGOs/Agents.
- The students who are persevering study at the postgraduation level.
- Aspirants who have procured admission to a college other than the designated colleges.
- Candidates who have annual family earnings greater than INR 8 Lakh per annum.
Benefits Offered Through AICTE JK Scholarships
A total of 5000 scholarships will be awarded to students pursuing courses in General degrees, Engineering degrees, and Medical Streams. Students selected for the scholarship will receive the following benefits:
For General Degree
- Maintenance charges of INR 1 lakh per annum (payable to the student)
- Up to INR 30,000 per annum for the academic fee (payable to the institution)
- A total of 2070 scholarships are to be offered
For Engineering Degree
- Up to INR 1.25 lakh per annum for the academic fee (payable to the institution)
- A total of 2830 scholarships are to be offered
- Maintenance charges of INR 1 lakh per annum (payable to the student)
For Medical/ BDS or Equivalent Medical Streams
- Up to INR 3 lakh per annum for the academic fee (payable to the institution)
- A total of 100 scholarships to be offered
- Maintenance charges of INR 1 lakh per annum (payable to the student)

- Aadhar Card (Aadhar Number to be seeded with Bank Account)

How To Fill PMSSS JK Scholarship Application Form Online?
- Candidates have to visit the official os PMSSS registration portal @ www.aicte-jk-scholarship-gov.in.
- Now, select the Category that may be either “12th Registration” or “Diploma Registration.”
- Fill out the PMSSS JK Scholarship Application Form with all your actual details.
- Submit the form with the exact information.
- Also, make sure that you have entered your details and uploaded the required documents.
- Later verify your email through the link received on Email/ SMS.
- Complete the other process and then download it.
- Further, you have to take out the printed copy of it for further usage.
- Present the photocopies of all the certificates to the facilitation center at the time of verification.
- Once the document verification is done, the candidates are required to assemble a copy of their document verification report.
