About Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University | teluguuniversity.ac.in
This University was supported with the broad objectives of serving the reason behind the Telugu folks, each among the State and out of doors.
For this purpose, the government has integrated the Sahitya, Sangeeta, Nataka, Nritya and Lalita Kala Academies, International Telugu Institute and Telugu Bhasha Samiti into the University. This University was established to perform a central organization for teaching and analysis in Language and Literature, History and Culture, Fine Arts and arts, faith and philosophy of the Telugu speaking people.
It strives to instill a way of identity in them as citizens of India and as accountable representatives of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This University was renamed as “Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University” within the year 1998. The University Grants Commission has recognized the University as suitable receive money grants since two might 1990.

Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University Distance Education
Potti Sree Ramulu Telugu University established the Center for Distance Education in the year 2001 with a unique postgraduate course in Astrology. In a short duration of time, the course gained popularity around the world.
