PSTET 2023 Exam Cancelled: On Monday, the Education Minister of Punjab, Harjot Singh Bains, declared that the PSTET 2023, a teacher eligibility test conducted at the state level, was cancelled due to accusations of providing correct multiple-choice question answers on the exam paper. He also stated that an investigation had been initiated and that anyone found responsible for the negligence would be charged with a criminal offense.
The minister tweeted that a PS level investigation has been initiated to ensure fairness in the examination process. The investigation will focus on the PSTET exam conducted by a third party, GNDU, which has an A++ NAAC grade. The minister added that accountability will be established, and those who are found responsible for any negligence will be charged with a criminal offense.
PSTET 2023 Re-Exam Date
The coordinator of the examination, Professor Hardeep Singh, informed Hindustan Times that Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), which conducted the exam on Sunday, has declared that a re-examination will be conducted for all candidates. He expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to the candidates due to the cancellation of the paper. He further stated that a new paper would be scheduled as soon as possible, and a report would be submitted to the State Council of Educational Research and Training.
