ReBIT Internship 2020 – Objective
The Internship Program at Reserve Bank Information Technology Pvt. Ltd. (ReBIT) provides an opportunity for young individuals to expose themselves to cutting edge research and technologies in cybersecurity and banking. The program is best suited for individuals who are in the second last or last year of their engineering, graduation, or master’s program and are interested in pursuing a career in Cyber Security or Information Technology within the banking and financial services sector. The interns will be paid a fixed stipend during the tenure of their internship.
Role Description
The Intern will get an opportunity to work on issues relevant to the Indian Banking sector, with guidance from experts and professionals in ReBIT. They will:
- Assist in code development, compiling reports and documents, and other artifacts as may be pertinent to the project.
- Be assigned to assist in writing research papers, case studies, and reports of good quality, based on performance and project requirements.
- Assist and collaborate with ReBIT teams on research, industry, or technical projects.
Eligibility
Indian students from recognized universities in India or abroad who have secured at least 75% marks in the last held degree or pursuing their engineering degrees and have maintained a GPA of 3.00/4 or above :
- Candidates who have completed their education under the 10+2+3 pattern of education, or are in the final year of the same or Aspirants who are pursuing 3rd or subsequent year of in the Engineering stream in the 10+2+4 pattern of education, OR a 10+2+5 integrated degree
- Candidates who have an exceptional understanding and/or working knowledge of the role for which the internship is advertised will also be considered, even if they do not meet the percentage criteria or have a higher degree instead of the qualification required for the position.

ReBIT Internship – Duration
- The internship will be for a period of 2 (two) months extendable up to another 6 (six) months based on the requirements of the team and the performance of the intern. Exceptional performers might be considered for further extension (total internship period may be for a maximum period of two years with a provision for renewal every six months).
- The internship is based in Mumbai, India. (Candidates and selected interns are expected to arrange their own accommodation, travel, and other personal expenses.)
- Moreover, the intern should necessarily complete the 2 months internship period after selection and if he/she decides to terminate the same, a notice period of at least one week has to be served. If under any circumstances, the intern is unable to serve the notice period he/she would have to pay an amount equivalent to one week’s stipend.
- The company reserves the right to terminate the internship with a notice period of one week and may choose not to provide any reasoning for the same.

Mode of Application
- Selections will be done two times per year relying upon ReBIT’s necessities in a way that the temporary position begins from the first of January or the first of July of the year concerned. The application window will stay open during the initial five months of the former half-year. To outline, applications for temporary jobs initiating from the first of January onwards will be acknowledged during July-November of the earlier year and will be inspected in December of the earlier year. Similarly, applications for temporary job initiating from the first of July onwards will be acknowledged during January-May and will be analyzed in June of the exact year.
- Candidates who were not selected earlier, if interested, are requested to apply a fresh when the application window for the next intended batch commences.
- Applicants will be shortlisted dependent on their CV, References, and Statement of Purpose and will be called for individual meetings. Selection Process
- The candidates will be shortlisted by the Reserve Bank Information Technology Private Limited based on their CV, References, and Statement of Purpose and will be called for a panel interview, and as deemed necessary, technical tests, programming rounds, and related assessments.
Facilities Provided
- ReBIT will pay a stipend of INR 15,000/- per month to the candidates which would be remitted online into the designated accounts as provided by the interns.
- ReBIT will provide office space, internet connectivity, and other support facilities to the interns.
- Interns will be required to make their own arrangements concerning travel and accommodation.

Non-disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement
- Selected interns are required to sign an agreement of a non-disclosure and confidentiality agreement with ReBIT in the format provided by the company, before the commencement of the internship.
No Right of Appointment
- The interns shall have no right/claim for an appointment in the Reserve Bank of India or any of its subsidiaries by their internship.
