RPSC RAS Exam Pattern 2024 for Prelims, Mains
The RPSC RAS 2024 Exam, known as the Combined Competitive Exam, consists of two phases: Prelims and Mains. The Preliminary stage is considered qualifying, while the mains phase is selective. Candidates who successfully qualify in both the prelims and mains examinations will be invited to participate in a personal interview, which serves as the final stage of the selection process. RPSC RAS Prelims Exam Pattern 2024
The Preliminary Examination will consists of one paper which will be of objective type and carry a maximum of 200 marks. The examination is meant to serve as a screening test only. The Standard of the paper will be that of a Bachelor’s Degree Level. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates, who are declared qualified for admission to Main Examination will not be counted for determining their final order of merit.

- There will be 150 questions of multiple choice (Objective Type), carrying equal marks.
- There will be negative marking 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

RPSC RAS Mains Exam Pattern 2024
- The written examination will consist of the following four papers which will be descriptive/ analytical. A candidate must take all the papers listed below which will also consist of question paper of brief, medium, long answer and descriptive type questions. The standard of General Hindi and General English will be that of Sr. Secondary level. The time allowed for each paper shall be 3 hours.
- The Candidates appearing in the main examination shall be required to obtain minimum 10% marks in each paper and 15% marks in aggregate out of the total marks of all papers in the main examination to qualify for appearing in personality and viva voce examination.
