RRC Western Railway Senior Clerk Typist Test Pattern
The official of the RRC Western Railway is going to conduct a Computer Based Test including the subjects of Mathematics, General Intelligence, and Reasoning, General Awareness.
- There shall be negative marking in the examination and 1/3 of the allotted marks for each question shall be deducted for every wrong answer.
- So aspirants prepare a schedule and prepare for the Written Exam and gain maximum marks in the written Test.

Subjects in the CBT Exam:
- Mathematics
- General Intelligence
- Reasoning
- General Awareness
Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories:
- UR – 40%
- OBC (Non-creamy layer) – 30%
- SC – 30%

RRC Western Railway Senior Clerk Selection Process – Railway Recruitment Board
Written Test
First, the applied aspirants need to write the Written Test which is a Computer Based Test. The candidates who are qualified in the written exam, those candidates will be moved to further selection process.
Typing Skill Test (TST)
For the post of Senior Clerk Typist, a Typing Skill Test of a qualifying nature (marks obtained in the Typing Skill test shall not be added to CBT marks while preparing the merit list). The employee should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 words per minute (WPM) in Hindi on a Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell-check facility.
Document Verification
- The eligible employee will be called for Document Verification and an e-Call letter will be available for downloading from RRC Website.
- Production of original documents of Date of birth, Educational Qualification Caste Certificate, along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates, 2 recent passport size Photographs (self-attested on reverse) e call letter, and Valid photo Identity Card issued by his/ her Employer, in ORIGINAL on the day of Document Verification is mandatory.
- Certificates in languages other than English or Hindi should be accompanied by an attested translation in English/Hindi.
