SBI Asha Scholarship 2024 | Application Form, Eligibility Criteria: The State Bank of India (SBI) Foundation has issued its third edition of its SBI Asha Scholarship Program, aims to support 10,000 talented students from underprivileged backgrounds across India. The SBI Asha Scholarship 2024 is open for students pursuing class 6th to 12th school students, UG students, PG Students, IIT Students, IIM Students. The Application closing date is said to be 1st October 2024.

SBIF Asha Scholarship Program For School Students

Eligibility Criteria

• This Scholarship Program is open for Indian nationals only.
• Applicants must be studying in Class 6 to 12 in the current academic year.
• Students must have secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
• The gross annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 3,00,000.

Note:

• 50% of the slots will be reserved for female applicants.
• Preference will be given to students belonging to the SC and ST categories.

Benefits

Selected Students will get INR 15,000 each.

SBIF Asha Scholarship Program For Undergraduate Students

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants should be Indian nationals.
• Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate course (any year) from a premier university/college in India, as listed in the Top 100 Institutes according to the latest NIRF rankings.
• Students must have secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
• The gross annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 6,00,000.

Note:

• Premier institutions and renowned colleges will include those listed in the top 100 NIRF List for Universities and the top 100 in the NIRF List for Colleges for 2023 and 2024 (released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India). Additionally, all National Institutes of Technology (NITs) will also be included.
• Preference will be given to students with a family income of up to INR 3,00,000 per annum.
• 50% of the slots will be reserved for female applicants.
• Preference will be given to students belonging to the SC and ST categories.

Benefits

Selected Students will get up to INR 50,000.

SBI Asha Scholarship Program for Postgraduate Students

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants should be Indian nationals.
• Applicants must be pursuing a postgraduate course (any year) from a premier university/college in India, as listed in the Top 100 Institutes according to the latest NIRF rankings.
• Students must have secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
• The gross annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 6,00,000.

Note

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants should be Indian nationals.
• Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate course (any year) from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in India.
• Students must have secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
• The gross annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 6,00,000.

Note:

• Preference will be given to students with a family income of up to INR 3,00,000 per annum.
• 50% of the slots will be reserved for female applicants.
• Preference will be given to students belonging to the SC and ST categories.

Selected Undergraduate Students from IIT students will get up to INR 2,00,000

SBI Asha Scholarship Program for IIM Students

Eligibility

• Applicants should be Indian nationals.
• Applicants must be pursuing MBA/PGDM courses (any year) from an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in India.
• Students must have secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
• The gross annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 6,00,000.

Note:

• Preference will be given to students with a family income of up to INR 3,00,000 per annum.
• 50% of the slots will be reserved for female applicants.
• Preference will be given to students belonging to the SC and ST categories.

Benefits

Selected MBA Students from IIM Students will get up to INR 7,50,000

Documents Required for Application Process

• Marksheet from the previous academic year (Class 12/ Graduation/ Postgraduation, as applicable)
• Government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card)
• Current year Fee receipt
• Proof of current year admission (Admission letter/institution identity card/ bonafide certificate)
• Bank account details of the applicant (or parent)
• Proof of income (Form 16A/ income certificate from a government authority/ salary slips, etc.)
• Photograph of the applicant.
• Caste certificate (if applicable)

SBIF Asha Scholarship Program – Selection Process

• The Selection Process is purely based on merit, the applicants need to satisfy the eligibility criteria such academics and financial conditions.
• Telephonic Interview will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates.
