According to the order issued by the Personnel Ministry, his tenure as additional director extends until 6th August 2028.

N Venu Gopal’s Appointment

N Venu Gopal, an experienced IPS officer from the Himachal Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as an additional director in the CBI. With his current role as joint director in the CBI, Venu Gopal has showcased remarkable leadership and investigative abilities. According to an order issued by the Personnel Ministry, his appointment as additional director is effective until 24th May 2027.
