Sitaram Jindal Scholarship – Application Form, Eligibility, Rewards/ Amount: Sitaram Jindal Scholarships are divided into different categories based on the course pursued by the students. Sitaram Jindal Scholarship Rewards

The rewards will be divided as below: (per month)

  • Class 11-12: Rs.500
  • ITI government students: Rs.500
  • ITI private students: Rs.700 

For Graduates & Postgraduates

  • Girls of the general category: Rs.1000 
  • Boys of the general category: Rs.800 
  • Physically challenged students: Rs.1000 
  • Widows & unmarried wards of Ex-Servicemen: Rs.1200

For Postgraduate students

  • Girls of the general category: Rs.1200
  • Boys of the general category: Rs.1000
  • physically challenged students: Rs1200
  • Widows & unmarried wards of Ex-Servicemen: Rs.1500

Diploma Courses

  • For Girls: Rs.1200
  • For Boys: Rs.1000

For Engineering & Medical Students

  • For girls pursuing engineering courses: Rs.1700
  • For boys pursuing engineering courses: Rs.1500
  • For girls pursuing medical courses: Rs.2000
  • For boys pursuing medical courses: Rs.1800
  • For girls pursuing PG courses in engineering & medicine courses: Rs.2500
  • For boys pursuing PG courses in engineering & medicine courses: Rs.2300
  • For the students staying in a hostel:
    a)
    Additional amount for hosteller pursuing ITI/ Diploma, graduate/ PG courses – Rs.800
    b) Additional amount for hosteller pursuing Medical, engineering courses including PG courses – Rs.1200

Sitaram Jindal Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

11 &12 Candidates

  •  The candidate must belong to either the 11th or 12th standards.
  •  The male candidate score must be at least 65% to be eligible.
  •  The girl student must have a minimum of 60% to be eligible.
  •  The students of Karnataka should have a score of 75% for male students and 70% of the score for female students.
  •  however, the West Bengal student should have a minimum of 70% for boy candidates and 65% for girl students.
  •  The employed candidate should not have an annual income of more than Rs.4 lakhs per annum.
  •  For other students, the family’s annual income should not be greater than 2.5 lakhs.
  •  The applicant’s age must be less than 30 years.

ITI Students

  •  The applicant must belong to ITI courses either from the government or from a private institution.
  •  The male candidate must score 50% in previous exams to be eligible.
  •  The female applicant must score 40% in previous exams to be eligible.
  •  The employed candidate should not have an annual income of more than Rs.4 lakhs per annum.
  •  For other students, the family’s annual income should not be greater than 2.5 lakhs.
  •  The applicant’s age must be less than 30 years.

Graduate Courses

  •  The candidates who are pursuing graduate students are eligible for this.
  •  The male candidate score must be at least 60% to be eligible.
  •  The girl student must have a minimum of 55% to be eligible.
  •  The students of Karnataka should have a score of 70% for male students and 65% of the score for female students.
  •  However, the West Bengal student should have a minimum of 65% for boy candidates and 60% for girl student.
  •  The employed candidate should not have an annual income of more than Rs.4 lakhs per annum.
  •  For other students, the family’s annual income should not be greater than 2.5 lakhs.
  •  The applicant’s age must be less than 30 years.

Post Graduate Courses

  •  The candidate must belong to postgraduate courses
  •  The male candidate score must be at least 65% to be eligible.
  •  The girl student must have a minimum of 60% to be eligible.

  •  The candidate must be pursuing diploma courses like civil engineering, computer science, chemical automobile tech.., Nursing, Pharmacy & physiotherapy, and environment-related courses.
  •  The male candidate score must be at least 60% to be eligible.
  •  The girl student must have a minimum of 55% to be eligible.
  •  The employed candidate should not have an annual income of more than Rs.4 lakhs per annum.
  •  For other students, the family’s annual income should not be greater than 2.5 lakhs.
  •  The applicant’s age must be less than 30 years.

Engineering & Medicine Courses

  •  The studying must be in the stage of pursuing engineering, medicine, and architecture courses.
  •  MDS candidates are not eligible for the scholarship.
  •  The male candidate score must be at least 70% to be eligible.
  •  The girl student must have a minimum of 65% to be eligible.
  •  The students of Karnataka and West Bengal should have a score of 75% for males students and 70% of the score for females students.
  •  The employed candidate should not have an annual income of more than Rs.4 lakhs per annum.
