About Snehapoorvam Scholarship Objective

In Kerala, almost 75,000 children under the age group of 18 are In Kerala, about 75,000 children below 18 years are living in orphanages. This Snehapoorvam Scholarship reduces the incidences of children stopping school because of the death of their parents or breadwinner. The orphaned children below 5 years to children at class XI to class XII, and university or college degree students all are eligible to avail this scholarship.

Amount Credited – Snehapoorvam Scholarship

• For the children below 5 years of age in class between I to V is credited INR 300 per month.
• For the children between class VI to X INR 500 will be credited per month.
• Students between class XI to XII INR, 750 will be credited per month.
• For students with undergraduate or professional degrees, INR 1000 will be credited per month.

Snehapoorvam Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria

• The Candidate must be a child who has lost at least one of their parents.
• The aspirant must be a student pursuing a formal education from the first standard to a college degree.
• Candidate children below 5 years of age can be directly eligible.
• A child who belongs to the BPL (Below Poverty Level) category.
• The Candidate’s family annual income should be less than INR 20,000 for those in rural areas (Local body/ Grama Panchayat)
• The Candidate’s family annual income should be less than INR 22,375 for those in Urban areas(Corporation/ Municipality).

• Then click Start Application.
• Now, start filling out the online form, and here also check whether the information is correct.
