SolarWinds Responsibilities

• Performing technical pre-sales support activities in support of the company’s products.
  Conducting online and in-person product demonstrations.
• Answering technical questions from potential customers and channel partners.
• Maintaining and continually upgrades technical understanding of products and providing training to other team members where necessary.
• Advising sales in all technical pre-sales support functions, providing technical advice to sales and partners on the best solutions to fit customer requirements.
• Performing pre-sales technical support duties, including product configuration, and troubleshooting of customer issues.
• Performing training to different departments internally – sales, renewals, marketing
• Working closely with marketing to organize events.
• Working with Product Marketing and Management teams on product performance.
• Conveying customer feedback including feature requests and product issues to Product Management and Development teams.
• Presenting at partner events and travel to trade shows.

SolarWinds Careers Qualifications & Experience

• A strong mix of technical ability, sales and customer interaction skills are required.
  Fluent English speaker.
• Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills are critical.
• Must have a curious mind, capable of figuring out complex topics.
  Possess a strong desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced sales organization
  Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills who is eager to learn and creative
  Ability to rapidly assimilate and distil complex topics in the form of a presentation
• Database experience is a must – DB administrator, DB developer – exposure to multiple database technologies, for example, SQL, Oracle, DB2, Mongo etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Business or Computing discipline or in a related field (Technology consulting, presales, database admin or similar IT related job function)
• Experience in delivering technical training to pre-sales and or/ sales staff internally and externally to partners and end-users.
• Experience with application performance monitoring technologies and/ or experience with cloud-based technologies, AWS and Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS is a plus
