The application process commenced on 24th June 2024 and will continue until 24th July 2024, with candidates required to apply online through the official SSC website (ssc.nic.in). The selection process for these positions includes a Tier 1 examination, which is qualifying in nature, followed by a Tier 2 examination.
The notification was officially released on 24th June 2024, coinciding with the commencement of the online application process. Aspiring candidates must submit their applications by 24th July 2024, with the online payment deadline set for 25th July 2024. Additionally, a brief window for application corrections will be available from 10th to 11th August 2024. SSC CGL Salary Details

- Pay Level-6: Rs. 35,400/- to 1,12,400/-

SSC CGL Selection Process
The SSC CGL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process consists of multiple stages as mentioned below:
- Tier 1 – Computer-based test, the first stage of the selection process.
- Tier 2 – Computer-based test, which includes three papers – Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III.
- Tier II will include conducting Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III in separate shift(s)/ day(s).
- Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts
- Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and Statistical Investigator Grade-II in the office of Registrar General of India (M/o Home Affairs) and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for these Posts.
- Paper-III will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper-III i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer
