SSC SSA UDC LDCE Eligibility Criteria
- He should have on the crucial date, rendered not less than five years’ approved and continuous service in the Lower Division Grade of the service.
- Provided that if he had been appointed to the Lower Division Grade of the Central Secretariat Clerical Service on the results of the Competitive Examination, including a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, the results of such examination should have been announced not less than five years before the crucial date and he should have rendered not less than four years’ approved and continuous service in that Grade.

SSC SSA UDC LDCE 2023 – Age Limit
- Candidate should not be more than 50 years of age as on crucial/ cutoff date for the recruitment years 2018 & 2019 as prescribed by their respective Cadre Controlling Authority.
- Where an upper age-limit not exceeding 50 years is prescribed for promotion to a Service/ Cadre, it shall be relaxed by 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
